Tiger Woods, who has not had a single endorsement deal since his infamous sex scandal in late 2009, has been hired to pitch a Japanese heat rub.

Kowa Company, based in Nagoya, released a statement saying it is pleased to announce the use of Tiger Woods.. as the image character of Antiphlogistic Analgetic Vantelin Kowa series.

Woods will appear in a TV commercial pitching the heat rub for muscle and joint pain relief, which will air mid-July in Japan.
