Former Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow has not made an NFL roster since the 2012 season, but he has managed to stay in the limelight. His most recent foray might surprise you: lip syncing and dancing.

Tebow, who failed to make the Philadelphia Eagles in the preseason, took to Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle” and performed Survivor’s 1982 smash hit “Eye of the Tiger,” which was featured in Sylvester Stallone’s third rendition of the Rocky Balboa franchise, “Rocky III.” The episode will air on Thursday night.

The song is most appropriate for SEC Network analyst Tebow. Since the Denver Broncos drafted him in the first round in 2010, Tebow has remained steadfast in his desire to return to the league despite numerous setbacks. While experts have questioned his throwing skills, few have challenged his work ethic and dedication.

Tebow hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since 2012, but his name is always linked to various rumors whenever a quarterback is injured or cut from an active roster and given his age and shape there’s still a chance Tebow can make his way back to the NFL.

Adorning a tank top, sweat pants, and red band that Stallone wore during one of the movie’s training montages, Tebow shows in the brief preview clip below his impressive lip syncing skills and even more impressive physique.

Tebow was battling actress Nina Dobrev, most famous for her work on Canadian soap opera “Degrassi,” and his performance even included props synonymous with the “Rocky” franchise like a hanging and swinging meat carcass and intense rope jumping.
