“In addition to the conference attendance, we had discussions with top-level representatives from major hotel and casino properties in Las Vegas,” stated Shiva Prakash, Tivus’ president and chief executive officer.

“After reviewing the plethora of IP-based content and HD IPTV technology innovations presented, I must admit it was gratifying to confirm our business plan is not only on the leading edge of this burgeoning platform, but it appears we are ahead of the curve.

“Moreover, we identified new IP-based services that will provide commercially viable, value-added features. And, as IPTV continues to grow in popularity, we intend to continue leading the hotel IPTV entertainment industry by identifying additional revenue streams not possible until now by employing innovative, novel strategies leveraging this extremely powerful new IP-based platform.

“With more than 90,000 industry professionals in attendance, the NABShow represented $35 billion in purchasing power. NABShow events included nine conferences and three training programs, featured more than 500 skill-building sessions, drew media and entertainment professionals from over 150 countries, including 1,200-plus members of the press, and1,500-plus unique companies.

“As our current installations of the world’s first Tivus HD IPTV systems are progressing nicely, the new ideas we were exposed to at the NABShow may very well be deployed in future hotel and casino installations,” Prakash concluded.
