Barack Obama and David Cameron emphasized the necessity of the relationship between their two countries and discussed the ways to resolve Gaddafi regime in Libya and developments in the Middle East, including in Syria and Yemen, the fight against terrorism and the global economy.

It is impossible to envisage future for Libya to have Colonel Gadhafi still in power. He must go, Cameron said.

Obama confirmed that Colonel Gadhafi would be ultimately forced to step down if NATO keeps up its military campaign with the U.S. playing a key role.
