Tonia Sotiropoulou will be joining Daniel Craig in the latest James Bond film Skyfall. The latest Bond girl will be featured early on in the film and have the pleasure of romancing the British Agent.

Sotiropoulou announced her casting on her Facebook page. Dear friends I officially announce I got a part in J. Bond new film! the actress posted on her page. Turkey here I come! Thank u for all love and support! This is officially the happiest day of my life bitches!!!!

The new Bond film, Skyfall will show Bond's loyalty to M being tested as her past comes back to haunt her. According to the IMDB page for the film, the MI6 will come under attack and it's up to Bond to destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. Skyfall will hit theaters November 9.

1. Sotiropoulou had initially auditioned for the role of Severine in the new James Bond movie. The role went to Berenice Marlohe, a French actress and model.

2. The Greek actress states on her Facebook page that she knows Ancient Greek, Cypriot Greek, English, French and Greek.

3. Sotiropoulou has performed in children's theatre, comedy, live role play, musical comedy, musical theatre, stand-up comedy and TV presenting.

4. In 2013 she will star as Elena in an Italian-set horror film called Berberian Sound Studio. The film revolves around a sound engineer at an Italian horror studio where life starts imitating art.

5. Sotiropoulou once played the role of the Virgin Mary. Before Christmas she starred in Martha Fiennes' Covent Garden Installation Nativity reports the UK's Sun.
