Neil Patrick Harris did not host the 2015 Tony Awards this year, but he still made an appearance. The three-time host recalled his most recent hosting gig at the 2015 Oscars, and he noted one joke didn’t go over very well.

“Before I present my next award, earlier in the night I made some predictions in that locked box -- what? We’re not? I’m not?” Harris asked to someone off screen. “That’s a drag ‘cause it went so well last time.”

In February, Harris had his Oscar guesses locked in a box on stage throughout the show. It was a running gag through the program, but ultimately, it didn’t pull in many laughs. The results were oddly specific, but the box was on the stage the entire night -- adding to the ‘magic trick’ element of the night. The magic didn’t impress audiences though, and it seems Harris knows that.

Harris then presented the award for best leading actress in a musical to Kelli O'Hara for her performance in the “King and I.” The actress tap danced off the stage after thanking her co-workers and family.
