Tony Danza is the latest celebrity to be killed - on Twitter.

Thursday, Danza was rumored to have fallen off a cliff in New Zealand, or was in a fatal car crash in the United States. The rumor was ignited by an article Tony Danza Dies In Car Crash on a fake website Global Associated News.

But the 60-year-old Boss is alive and well, and the news was proven to be just another social media death hoax.

Tony Danza has simply joined celebrities like Jackie Chan, Charlie Sheen and Justin Bieber in falling into the victim of death rumors.

In the past, Jeff Goldblum, Tom Cruise, George Clooney, house music producer David Guetta and Will Smith have also allegedly 'fallen off a cliff in New Zealand.'

On Twitter, Danza's death hoax created a buzz.

Tony Danza did not fall off a cliff and die...he is still boss!! tweeted @cj225devs.

Tony Danza IS alive. Still not clear: who in fact was 'the boss.' said @WilsonShow.

Furthermore, a hashtag #ThingsDanzaDidNotDo was added by @DamonLindelof who tweeted,

My AOL front page is declaring Tony Danza did not fall off a cliff. Prepare for onslaught of greatest hashtag ever, #ThingsDanzaDidNotDo.

Tony Danza, an American actor best known for starring on Taxi (1978-1983) and Who's the Boss (1984-1992), spent much of the last ten years touring with his live act, which he is preparing to re-launch in the near future, according to his website.
