Rapper Too Short has had enough of the death rumors circulating on Twitter and he wants you know that he is alive and working on his 19th album.

Stop calling my phone, rapper tweeted two hours ago. I'm not dead. Been in the lab working on my 19th album #NoTrespassing in stores Feb 2012.

The Internet, especially the social networking site Twitter, was buzzing this morning with false news about the rapper's death. Those reports claimed that Too Short died from a heart attack on Tuesday.

TMZ stated that there were also several attempts to change the rapper's Wiki page to reflect his death.

It is not the first time that Too Short, whose real name is Todd Shaw, has been the victim of a celebrity death hoax. It was once rumored that the rapper died back in the 1990s.

Are U serious? How did they say I died this time? Too Short tweeted on Tuesday, well aware that he has been rumored dead on numerous occasions.

Over the weekend, rapper Missy Elliott was also battling Internet rumors that she died. But like Too Short, Elliott is also working on new material for fans. Prior to the false report on Elliott's death, pro golfer Tiger Woods was rumored dead, when he was in reality, playing golf in Australia.

Thanks for the calls, texts, emails & tweets. Its good to know yall got love for me. Retweet it & facebook post it. #2Short'sAlive, Too Short wrote to his followers.

He later tweeted: I'm not dead, I'm just mackin.
