No. 1 – John Stockton

John Houston Stockton was born in March 26, 1962. He played in back-to-back NBA finals against the reigning Chicago Bulls, giving Michael Jordan his toughest finals ever. Although he didn't have flashy moves, Stockton is regarded as one of the best point guards of all time. He was very strong in fundamentals,consistent throughout his career, and holds the NBA's record for most career assists (15,806) by a margin of more than 4,000 and the record for most career steals (3,265).

No. 2 – Earvin Magic Johnson

Earvin “Magic” Johnson was born in August 14, 1959. He was one of the tallest point guards in the game 6ft 9. He won 5 NBA Championships and 3 NBA Finals MVPs. He got his nickname "Magic" because of his unbelievable no look passes that even his teammates had difficulty anticipating. Johnson was first called "Magic" after a game he played when he was a 15-year-old at Everett High School in Michigan. In that particular game, he recorded a triple-double with 36 points, 18 rebounds, and 16 assists.

No. 3 – Jason Kidd

Jason Kidd was born in March 23, 1973. Kidd was the 1995 co-rookie of the year. While he was playing for New Jersey Nets, he had back-to-back NBA Finals appearances in the early 2000s. He lead the league in regular season assists for five seasons. Kidd is best known for his incredible ability to produce triple double. (He has recorded 106 of them currently, trailing only Oscar Robertson and Earvin "Magic" Johnson).

No. 4 - Steve Nash

Steven Nash was born in 7 February 1974. The Canadian point guard has won has won back-to-back MVPs for the regular seasons in 2004-2005 and 2005-2006. He is also ranked as one of the top players in league history for three-point shooting percentage (0.432%), free-throw shooting percentage (0.903%), total assists, and assists per game (8.3).However, he has never reached an NBA final before.

No. 5 - Isiah Thomas

Isiah Thomas was born in April 30, 1961. He led the Detroit Pistons (a squad known as the "Bad Boys" in his day) to back-to-back NBA championship in 1988-1989 and 1989-1990. He has been seleted as one of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History during the NBA's 50th anniversary. He has averaged 19.2 points, 9.3 assists and 1.9 steals per game throughout his career. Thomas was named to the All-NBA First team three times, the NBA finals MVP once, and is the Pistons' all-time leader in points, steals,assists, and games played.
