The company's third quarter earnings were $2.6 million or 27 cents a share, up from $1.5 million or 25 cents a share last year. Revenue rose 78.5 percent to $57.5 million. Analyst expected profit of 18 cents a share on revenue of $32.30 million.
Cumberland Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (CPIX) soared 14.78 percent to $7.92 in the after-hours session. The company's third quarter profit was $1 million or 5 cents a share, down from $1.3 million or 7 cents a share last year. Revenue declined to $12.2 million from $13.6 million.
