The top after-market Nasdaq gainers Thursday were Analogic Corporation, Tessera Technologies Inc, Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation, MannKind Corporation and Skullcandy.

The top after-market Nasdaq losers were Werner Enterprises Inc, Green Plains Renewable Energy Inc, Royal Gold Inc, Affymetrix Inc and Susser Holdings Corporation.

Gainers

Analogic Corporation (ALOG) shares climbed 10.92 percent to $76.75 in after-hours trading Thursday. The shares gained after the company reported the fourth quarter non-GAAP net income of $1.32 per share after the bell Thursday, up from $0.83 per share in the previous year and against the consensus estimate $0.71 per share. Analogic also announced that it had declared $0.10 cash dividend for each common share for its fourth fiscal quarter ended July 31, 2012.

The shares of Tessera Technologies Inc (TSRA) rose 4.36 percent in post-market to close at $15.55. The company Thursday announced that for the third quarter of 2012, it expects the total revenue to range between $66.5 and $69.0 million above analysts' expectation of $60 million revenue for the third quarter of 2012.

Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation (BGFV) shares advanced 3.89 percent to $9.61 in post-market trading. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $5.34 - $11.59 and a market capitalization of $200.69 million.

MannKind Corporation (MNKD) shares gained 3.85 percent and reached $15.85 in after-hours trading. The company shares gained 2.77 percent in regular trading Thursday.

Skullcandy (SKUL) shares surged 3.19 percent to $12.30 in after-hours trading. The shares lost more than 16 percent in regular trading after Morgan Stanley downgraded the shares to an "equal weight" rating in a research note issued Thursday.

Werner Enterprises Inc (WERN) shares slumped 8.32 percent to $21.70 in post-market trading Thursday. The company shares declined after it said it expected earnings per diluted share for the third quarter ending September 30, 2012 to be in the range of $0.33-$0.36 per diluted shares against the analysts' estimate of an EPS of $0.44 for third quarter of 2012.

Green Plains Renewable Energy Inc (GPRE) shares plunged 5.76 percent to $5.40 in post-market trading. The company shares gained more than 6 percent in regular trading Thursday.

Royal Gold Inc (RGLD) shares lost 5.11 percent in after-hours trading to reach $86.96. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $57.00 -$91.89 and a market capitalization of $5.47 billion.

Affymetrix Inc (ENVI) shares dropped 4.52 percent to $3.91 in after-hours trading. The UBS AG reissued their neutral rating on shares of Affymetrix in a report released Thursday.
