AXT Inc. (NASDAQ:AXTI) shares rallied 11.07 percent to $3.11 in post-market trading. The company posted fourth quarter net loss of $0.02 per share compared to net profit of $0.08 per share in the same period last year. Quarterly revenue declined 10.8 percent to $18.9 million compared to $21.21 million last year but topped analysts’ estimation of $17.5 million. AXT also announced a program authorizing the repurchase of up to $6 million of the company's common stock through Feb. 27, 2014.

MediciNova, Inc. (NASDAQ:MNOV) shares climbed 10.75 percent to $2.37 in post-market trading. The company announced Monday that it has received Fast Track designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for MN-166 (ibudilast) for the treatment of methamphetamine dependence.

Amyris, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMRS) shares gained 3.10 percent to $2.99 in post-market trading. The company stock slumped more than 8 percent in regular trading.

TGC Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:TGE) shares advanced 2.60 percent to $9.48 in post-market trading. Its fourth quarter net profit rose to $4.2 million or $0.20 per share from $3.4 million or $0.17 per share in the same period last year.

Losers

Caesars Entertainment Corp. (NASDAQ:CZR) shares slumped 7.51 percent to $10.83 in post-market trading. Its fourth quarter net loss widened to $469.7 million or $3.75 per share from $220.6 million or $1.76 per share and also came in worse than analysts’ estimation for a loss of $2.04 per share.

VIVUS Inc. (NASDAQ:VVUS) shares plunged 5.24 percent to $11.76 in post-market trading. Its fourth quarter net loss widened to $56.7 million or $0.56 per share from $11.5 million or $0.13 per share in the same period a year earlier.

Solar Capital Ltd. (NASDAQ:SLRC) shares declined 3.40 percent to $23.90 in post-market trading. The company announced Monday that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.60 per share for its first fiscal quarter of 2013, be payable Apr. 2, 2013 to stockholders of record as of Mar. 21, 2013.

Autodesk Inc. (NASDAQ:ADSK) shares declined 2.24 percent to $35.80 in post-market trading. The company expects first quarter adjusted net profit to be in a range of $0.41 to $0.46 per share on revenues of $570 million to $590 million, below analysts’ estimation of a net profit of $0.51 per share on revenue of $590.61 million.
