NetSpend Holdings Inc (NASDAQ:NTSP) shares gained 29.45 percent to $15.91 in post-market trading. The company announced after the close Tuesday that it agreed to be acquired by TSYS in an all cash transaction valued at approximately $1.4 billion. The transaction is expected to close in mid-2013.

Rambus Inc (NASDAQ:RMBS) shares climbed 7.02 percent to $6.25 in post-market trading Tuesday. The company announced Tuesday it has signed a patent license agreement with LSI Corporation (NASDAQ: LSI). This agreement allows LSI Corporation to include Rambus patented innovations in all its products. In addition, the two companies have settled all outstanding claims.

SINA Corporation (NASDAQ:SINA) shares advanced 6.39 percent to $56.90 in post-market trading. Sina Corp posted better-than-expected fourth quarter revenue and profit amid concerns about the slowing growth of Chinese online advertising. It posted overall fourth quarter net revenue of $139.1 million, versus an average forecast for $133.9 million according to Thomson Reuters analysts.

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:MDRX) shares gained 5.72 percent to $11.82 in post-market trading. The company shares have a 52-week trading range of $8.84-$20.50 and a market capitalization of $1.92 billion.

Grand Canyon Education Inc (NASDAQ:LOPE) shares traded 5.20 percent higher at $26.89 in pre-market trading after the company reported fourth quarter earnings per share of $0.46, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.42. Revenue for the quarter came in at $141.3 million versus the consensus estimate of $136.09 million.
