Its first quarter loss widened to $24.18 million or $0.35 per share from $15.62 million or $0.23 per share in the comparable quarter last year. However, adjusted loss for the quarter was $9.4 million or $0.14 per share versus the analysts’ estimate of a loss of $0.19 per share for the quarter. Revenues stood at $169.84 million, up from $162.26 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $164.22 million.

ValueVision Media Inc. (NASDAQ:VVTV) shares surged 5.72 percent to $4.25 in post-market trading. The company reported first quarter EPS of $0.02, better than the analysts' estimate of $0.01. Revenue for the quarter stood at $151.4 million versus the consensus estimate of $146.77 million.

AMAG Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:AMAG) shares gained 5.62 percent to $23.66 in post-market trading. The stock plunged more than 10 percent in regular trading on Wednesday after the company said it was investigating the recall of one specific batch of its anemia drug Rienso by Takeda Pharma AG, its distributor of the drug in several markets.

Vical Inc (NASDAQ:VICL) shares plunged 3.13 percent to $3.40 in post-market trading. The company stock dropped more than 3.50 percent in regular trading on Wednesday.
