US Airways Group, Inc. (NYSE:LCC) shares gained 2.82 percent to $17.12 in post-market trading. A judge Wednesday approved AMR Corp's plan to merge with US Airways Group, a step toward creating the world's largest airline, Reuters reported.

The company announced that it has reached an agreement to sell its Wealth Management business, including Genworth Financial Wealth Management and alternative solutions provider, the Altegris companies, to a partnership of Aquiline Capital Partners and Genstar Capital for approximately $412.5 million.

ITT Educational Services, Inc. (NYSE:ESI) shares slumped 5.97 percent to $13.18 in post-market trading. The company stock surged more than 5 percent in regular trading.

PVH Corp. (NYSE:PVH) shares plunged 4.51 percent to $107.70 in post-market trading. Its fourth quarter adjusted net profit rose to $118.5 million or $1.60 per share from $87.3 million or $1.19 per share in the same period last year. Currently, the company expects fiscal 2013 adjusted earnings to be $7.00 per share, below analysts’ estimate of $7.46 per share.

RAIT Financial Trust (NYSE:RAS) shares plunged 3.81 percent to $7.83 in post-market trading. The company announced Wednesday that it has commenced an underwritten public offering of 7,000,000 common shares.

Red Hat Inc. (NYSE:RHT) shares declined 3.74 percent to $48.10 in post-market trading. The company reported fourth quarter net profit of $42.97 million or $0.22 per share, up from $35.97 million or $0.18 per share in the same period last year. Quarterly revenues rose to $347.88 million from $297.01 million last year but missed analysts’ estimate of $349.64 million.
