Gainers

MaxLinear, Inc. (MXL) shares surged 4.16 percent to $5.84 in post-market trading. Its stock rallied more than 22 percent in regular trading after the company announced the second quarter earnings. MaxLinear reported the second quarter adjusted net income of $1.8 million or $0.05 per share compared to the net loss of $0.6 million or $0.02 per share in the same period last year.

United States Cellular Corp. (USM) shares surged 3.40 percent to $38.60 in post-market trading. The company stock slumped nearly 8 percent in regular trading after the second quarter earnings were reported. The net income was $52.70 million or $0.57 per diluted share, down from $74.90 million or $0.88 per share and also fell short of Reuters' estimate of $0.69 per share.

AllianceBernstein Holding LP (AB) shares surged 3.13 percent to $12.69 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $11.44, a 52-week high of $18.40 and $1.29 billion in market capitalization.

First Majestic Silver Corp. (AG) shares gained 2.35 percent to $16.54 in post-market trading.

Enbridge Energy, LP (EEP) shares rose 2.32 percent to $29.50 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $24.66, a 52-week high of $33.85 and $8.24 billion in market capitalization.

Air Lease Corp. (AL) shares plunged 4.98 percent to $19.48 in post-market trading. The company stock surged more than 5 percent in regular trading.

Petroleo Brasileiro SA (PBR) shares plunged 4.53 percent to $19.41 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $17.27, a 52-week high of $32.60 and $132.60 billion in market capitalization.

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (RCL) shares plunged 3.67 percent to $24.41 in post-market trading. The company stock surged nearly 4 percent in regular trading.

American Water Works Co., Inc. (AWK) shares declined 3.64 percent to $36.25 in post-market trading. Its shares surged more than 3.5 percent after the company reported the second quarter earnings. The net profit was $107.03 million or $0.60 per share, up from $81.11 million or $0.46 per share in the same period last year and also topped analysts' estimate of $0.49 per share.

Beazer Homes USA, Inc. (BZH) shares declined 2.57 percent to $2.27 in post-market trading. Its third quarter net loss narrowed to $39.88 million or $0.40 per share from $59.12 million or $0.80 per share in the same period last year.
