The top after-market NYSE gainers Friday were Nordic American Tankers, Five Star Quality Care, AbbVie Inc, MetroPCS Communications and Radioshack Corp. The top after-market NYSE losers were Youku Tudou, Talisman Energy, Navistar International, General Cable and Qihoo 360 Technology.

Gainers

Nordic American Tankers Ltd. (NYSE:NAT) shares surged 3.83 percent to $9.50 in post-market trading. The company announced Friday that it had acquired 100 percent of the shares of Scandic American Shipping Ltd, its management company since 2004.

Five Star Quality Care Inc. (NYSE:FVE) shares surged 2.21 percent to $5.56 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $2.98, a 52-week high of $5.98 and $260.71 million in market capitalization.

AbbVie Inc. (NYSE:ABBV) shares gained 1.92 percent to $34.50 in post-market trading. The company’s stock was initiated with a “neutral” rating at UBS AG Friday with a price target of $36.00.

MetroPCS Communications Inc. (NYSE:PCS) shares advanced 1.51 percent to $9.68 in post-market trading. The company stock plunged nearly 2 percent in regular trading.

Radioshack Corp. (NYSE:RSH) shares advanced 1.35 percent to $2.25 in post-market trading after climbing more than 5 percent in regular trading.

Losers

Youku Tudou Inc. (NYSE:YOKU) shares plunged 2.23 percent to $21.48 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $13.82, a 52-week high of $32.75 and $3.59 billion in market capitalization.

Talisman Energy Inc. (NYSE:TLM) shares declined 1.94 percent to $12.04 in post-market trading. The company stock surged more than 4 percent in regular trading.

Navistar International Corp. (NYSE:NAV) shares fell 1.82 percent to $23.61 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $18.17, a 52-week high of $48.18 and $1.92 billion in market capitalization.
