Gainers

Portland General Electric Co. (POR) shares rallied 9.92 percent to $28.81 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $23.92, a 52-week high of $28.08 and $1.98 billion in market capitalization. The company announced Monday that its recent request for proposals for renewable electric power generating resources has resulted in 64 bids representing 39 distinct generating projects with a combined nameplate capacity of 4,450 megawatts.

Boise Inc. (BZ) shares climbed 7.73 percent to $8.50 in post-market trading.  The stock has a 52-week low of $5.54, a 52-week high of $9.18 and $792.82 million in market capitalization.

Culp Inc. (CFI) shares surged 6.88 percent to $13.99 in post-market trading. Its second quarter net profit rose to $8.3 million or $0.67 per share from $6.3 million or $0.49 per share in the same period last year.

Calpine Corp. (CPN) shares gained 5.63 percent to $18.00 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $14.45, a 52-week high of $19.02 and $7.93 billion in market capitalization.

Health Net Inc. (HNT) shares advanced 4.15 percent to $24.30 in post-market trading. The company stock plunged more than 4 percent in regular trading.

Losers

Guidewire Software Inc. (GWRE) shares tumbled 10.22 percent to $26.45 in post-market trading. Its first quarter adjusted net profit declined to $0.11 per share from $0.15 per share in the same period last year. Revenues rose 21 percent to $63.30 million but fell short of analysts’ estimate of $60.56 million.

Medley Capital Corp. (MCC) shares plunged 4.04 percent to $13.55 in post-market trading. The company announced Tuesday the commencement of a registered public offering of 5,000,000 shares of its common stock. 

Checkpoint Systems Inc. (CKP) shares fell 2.92 percent to $8.30 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $6.69, a 52-week high of $12.64 and $347.09 million in market capitalization.

Apartment Investment & Management Co. (AIV) shares declined 1.94 percent to $24.70 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $20.17, a 52-week high of $28.30 and $3.67 billion in market capitalization.

CommonWealth REIT (CWH) shares declined 1.55 percent to $14.82 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $13.46, a 52-week high of $21.43 and $1.26 billion in market capitalization.
