The top after-market NYSE gainers Monday were Swift Transportation, Live Nation Entertainment, Xerox Corp, Intelsat S.A and Northern Tier Energy. The top after-market NYSE losers were Rogers Communication, Safeway, Forest Laboratories, Gray Television and Chiquita Brands International.

Gainers

Swift Transportation Co. (NYSE:SWFT) shares climbed 6.78 percent to $14.49 in post-market trading. Its first quarter net profit rose to $23.3 million or $0.17 per share from $6.2 million or $0.04 per share in the same period last year. Adjusted profit was $0.21 per share, above analysts’ estimate of $0.16 per share.

Live Nation Entertainment Inc. (NYSE:LYV) shares surged 4.61 percent to $12.94 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $8.01, a 52-week high of $13.01 and $2.36 billion in market capitalization.

Xerox Corp. (NYSE:XRX) shares surged 3.49 percent to $8.90 in post-market trading. The company is expected to report first quarter net profit of $0.24 per share on revenues of $5.50 billion before the opening bell Tuesday.

Intelsat S.A. (NYSE:I) shares gained 3.49 percent to $20.76 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $16.90, a 52-week high of $21.85 and $2.08 billion in market capitalization.

Northern Tier Energy LP (NYSE:NTI) shares advanced 1.88 percent to $27.15 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $13.00, a 52-week high of $33.24 and $2.94 billion in market capitalization.

Losers

Rogers Communication Inc. (NYSE:RCI) shares tumbled 8.93 percent to $46.20 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $33.58, a 52-week high of $51.98 and $26.14 billion in market capitalization.

Safeway Inc. (NYSE:SWY) shares plunged 2.96 percent to $26.55 in post-market trading. The company stock surged more than 3 percent in regular trading.

Forest Laboratories Inc. (NYSE:FRX) shares declined 2.32 percent to $35.30 in post-market trading. The company is expected to report fourth quarter net profit of $0.16 per share on revenues of $805.24 million, down from $0.72 per share on revenues of $1.06 billion in the same period last year, before markets open Tuesday.

Gray Television, Inc. (NYSE:GTN) shares declined 2.08 percent to $5.57 in post-market trading. The company stock climbed more than 9 percent in regular trading.

Chiquita Brands International Inc. (NYSE:CQB) shares declined 1.97 percent to $7.88 in post-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $4.62, a 52-week high of $8.82 and $373.09 million in market capitalization.
