The company on Friday forecast full-year sales growth that missed analyst expectations by a margin of up to 50 percent. The company forecast its dollar revenue to grow between 6 percent and 10 percent for the fiscal year that began this month. That was less than analysts' estimates for revenue growth of as much as 12 percent, and slower than a gain of 12 to 14 percent expected for the overall industry. 

China XD Plastics Co Ltd (NASDAQ:CXDC) stock declined 7.77 percent to $3.80 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $3.52, a 52-week high of $5.23 and $195.96 million in market capitalization.

J.C. Penney Company Inc. (NYSE:JCP) stock plunged 5.73 percent to $14.96 in pre-market trading. The Wall Street Journal reported that the company has hired Blackstone Group L.P.’s financial advisory division to advise the firm on financial positioning. J.C. Penney seeks $1 billion in cash and selling a minority stake is one of its options.

Raytheon Company (NYSE:RTN) stock lost 2.52 percent to $56.94 in pre-market trading. The stock has a 52-week low of $49.03, a 52-week high of $59.34 and $19.06 billion in market capitalization.
