Toshiba on Monday revealed its new mobility and entertainment satellite laptop, redesign for economic demands and eco-efficiency.

Its new satellite U Series Mobility and A series entertainment laptop features style and impressive multimedia performance, a long life battery, Edge-to-edge widescreen with new HD TruBrite display, a sleek flat Backlit keyboard with black matte finish, combines with slot-loading DVD drive and a built-in 3D hard drive impact sensor to protect data from bumps.

“Toshiba is the first manufacturer to deliver a fully redesigned and brand new line of consumer laptops specifically for this new economy,” said Ron Smith, vice president of marketing, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., Digital Products Division.

It also bundles LED-illuminated Feathertouch multimedia command keys, built-in Webcams with Toshiba’s face recognition software and Toshiba’s innovative eSATA or USB combo ports with USB Sleep-and-Charge.

Among its multimedia performance, style and eco-efficiency laptops are M500/M505 Series versatile and mobile enthusiasts of 14” inch HD LED display and P500/P505 series features 18.4 Diagonal widescreen with HD TruBrite display design for digital media and PC gamers.

Its news satellite laptop is available also in Intel and AMD configurations at starting price of ranging from $699.99 to $849.99.
