Creative Assembly will be releasing the first patch for "Total War: Rome 2" today, dubbing it Patch 1. While it's not yet available to "Total War: Rome 2" players, you can download the "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 1 beta and see what changes are in store for you once the official patch goes live.
Here's how to download the "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 1 beta.
"In your steam game library, right click Total War: Rome II. Then choose Properties and select the BETAS tab. Finally select “patch1beta” from drop down list."
Note that the instructions are courtesy of Creative Assembly, the developer of "Total War: Rome 2." You can read their forum post here. Creative Assembly warns that downloading and installing the beta version of "Total War: Rome 2" Patch 1 may not solve any of the issues you're currently experiencing with the game, and that you take part in beta tests "at your own risks."
