Total War Rome 2
Sega has announced a Sept. 3 release for "Total War: Rome 2." http://www.totalwar.com/en_us/rome2

The recommended system requirements for "Total War: Rome 2," which is being developed by Creative Assembly, have been released. Check them out below.

OS: Windows 7 / Windows 8

Processor: 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 processor (or greater)

Memory: 4GB RAM

Graphics:1024 MB DirectX 11 compatible graphics card.

DirectX®:11

Hard Drive:35 GB HD space

Screen Resolution: 1920x1080

We find these recommended specs for "Total War: Rome 2" to be pretty reasonable considering the size and the scope of the battles you'll be waging in-game. 35 GB of hard drive space is a huge chunk to clear our for one game, and we wonder whether that encompasses any of the extras that come with pre-ordering or the basic version of "Total War: Rome 2" itself.

Either way, if your hard drive is cramped now you might want to start deciding what you want to delete. Or, buy an external hard drive on the cheap to store stuff that you want to keep but don't use all that often. You can buy a 1TB external USB 3.0 hard drive for less than $100 these days.

"Total War: Rome 2" will be released on Sept. 3. Pre-orders are currently being accepted.

What do you think of "Total War: Rome 2?" Will you be buying "Total War: Rome 2" Why or why not? Do you meet the above recommended requirements for "Total War: Rome 2"?
