If rumors are to be believed, North London-based Premier League side Tottenham have taken interest in French Ligue 1 side Lyon's talented goal keeper Hugo Lloris and are expected to make an attempt to bring the French skipper to White Hart Lane when the transfer window opens in the summer.

It is believed that Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has been sending Scouts to France to monitor the player's performance as the boss feels that Lloris, 25, could be a good replacement for the 40-year-old Brad Friedel next season.

Lloris, currently, is credited as one of the best goal keepers in Europe since he moved from Nice to Lyon in 2008. According to radio station RMC, Spurs are believed to have made Lloris one of their main priorities this summer.

Elsewhere, Spurs are also keen to bring Lille's Eden Hazard who has made a name for himself in the continuous transfer rumors that have linked him with clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea.

Another report from Metro has claimed that Redknapp is also interested in Newcastle's Dutch goal keeper Tim Krul who previously signed a new five-year contract with the Magpies.

Lloris, who is described as a goalkeeper who boasts lightning reflexes and good decision-making and is a formidable opponent in one-on-one situations, has made more than 180 appearances for the Stade de Gerland-based club and 31 appearances for France.
