Trade balance for October in Germany showed a widened surplus to 13.6 billion euros compared with the revised surplus of 10.4 billion euros from 10.6 billion euros surplus and expectations of 10.7 billion euros surplus.

Seasonally adjusted exports slipped to 2.5% from 3.8% which was revised to 3.6%, yet higher than estimates of 2.0%. Imports, in the other hand, slid to -2.4% from 5.8% previous, below forecasts of 0.2%.
