Thomas Muller is willing to accept a transfer from Bayern Munich to Manchester United and be reunited with manager Louis van Gaal. The German striker is reportedly flattered by the English club's interest.

According to a report from the Guardian, Manchester United is willing to shell out over $80 million for the 25-year-old. If Muller lands with the Red Devils, he will be the second Bayern player this summer to move to Manchester, following 30-year-old midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.

According to the same report, Muller has the potential to earn $21.41 million per season with the English team, which is nearly double his current contract with the German club. The Red Devils already lost Robin van Persie and Radamel Falcao earlier in the transfer season.

In his career with Bayern Munich, Muller has scored 137 goals in 339 matches; he has 27 goals in 63 matches for the German national team. Van Gaal managed Muller from 2009 to 2011 when he led Bayern Munich.
