Grieving John Travolta was threatened allegedly extortion plot over dying son Jett photos. That is believed to revolve around a photograph of Jett as he lay in the back of an ambulance that is taken on a mobile phone.

He was contacted by a pair of alleged extortionists who demanded 'millions of dollars' or threatened to sell the photo to agencies.

Travolta's lawyers, Michael Ossi and Howard Butler, have flown to the Bahamas and met with police, and the two suspects. The full details of the extortionist have not been released. But one is believed to be connected to the ambulance service and the other is said to be a senior political figure, according to local report.

After returning to Florida, they issued a statement saying: 'Regrettably in a time of such terrible grief there are often a few individuals who attempt to make false claims in hopes of making millions of dollars. We will never let that happen.'
