In his newest documentary Mansome, Morgan Spurlock (who directed the Oscar nominated hit Super-Size Me), explores the rising popularity of male grooming. Though the film, which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival this week, is largely non-fiction, it features hilarious scenes with film stars, such as Paul Rudd, Jason Bateman, and Will Arnett. One well known comedic actor that shares his insights on facial hair is Zach Galifianakis. The proud beard baring Hangover star also comments on the 1-10 scale used to rate looks. Galifianakis believes he's extremely low on the attractiveness spectrum but Spurlock disagrees. When asked to rate the funnyman, Spurlock told the International Business Times:

I think humor goes a long way. I was an ugly kid and I used humor to get girlfriends. Humor is a sexy trait. Zach's a solid 7. Although a lot of women, considering his success, would say that he's a 9.

Mainly a comedy, Mansome delves into serious issues of male self-esteem. Men are starting to be just as critical of their appearance as women have been. The intriguing foray into male body care products and primping practices reveals that men are becoming more and more self-conscious.
