Breaking away from his three-day bus trip to North Carolina and Virginia, U.S. President Barack Obama was seen shopping for Halloween treats on Monday.

Obama is on a three-day tour since Monday to build public support for his American Jobs Act.

The president bought Halloween candy at Mast General Store in Boone, N.C., Reuters reports.

“Trick or treat” is a traditional Halloween celebration for children in which they wear Halloween costumes and go from house to house asking for treats like candy and gifts. If someone says trick, then the children have to perform to get their treats.
