“Waiting sucks” is a phrase that “True Blood” fans are very familiar with. The seventh and final season of the hit HBO show is still a few weeks away, but the jaw-dropping first promo video released at the end of April is making the wait absolutely unbearable. Fortunately, HBO has something to ease your “True Blood” hunger -- photos from the upcoming season!

HBO took to Facebook over the weekend to post not one, not two, but three photos from the final season of “True Blood.” Needless to say, they are absolutely amazing.

The first photo gives a close look at some of our daywalking main characters. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammel), Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello), and Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) are lined up in town with disturbed grimaces on their faces as they appear to be looking at something shocking. While Sam, Sookie and Alcide are dressed in casual clothing, Jason and Andy are both in their police uniforms and holding guns in their hands.

The second photo released by HBO shows the always-fabulous Lafayette Reynolds (Nelson Ellis). Lafayette appears to be sitting in the comfort of his own home talking to someone not pictured.

The third and final photo released from the seventh season of “True Blood” features Sookie. The half-faerie can be seen sitting at what looks like a bar in a blue embroidered dress, with a white cardigan over it. It’s unclear if she’s at the bar on her own, or if she’s there with someone.

Season 7 of “True Blood” will premiere on HBO June 22 at 9 p.m. EDT. The episode is reportedly titled “Jesus Gonna Be Here” and will pick up where Season 6 left off -- with the hoard of Hep-V infected vampires storming the Bon Temps town barbeque.
