*CORRECTION* - A previous version of this article stated that the clip was from episode 1. The sneak peek video is actually from episode 3 of the upcoming seventh season.

Sharpen your fangs, “True Blood” fans. The Season 7 premiere of the hit HBO series is only a couple of days away, and Entertainment Weekly was lucky enough to get their hands on a sneak peek clip from episode 3 – and it’s just as steamy (and a little bloody) as viewers hoped.

In the video clip, “Truebies” can see Sookie driving with Bill. But just because they’re in the same car doesn’t mean that they are on good terms. The former lovers seem to be together strictly for business … although it would appear that Bill has other ideas.

“If we’re going to go through with this plan, then you’re going to have to take my blood,” Bill says to Sookie, breaking the awkward silence between them. “Or I won’t be able to help you.”

While that seems like an innocent enough request from Bill, fans can’t forget that vampire blood tends to have a sexual effect on humans – and Sookie is off the market.

Weighing her options, Sookie reluctantly agrees to Bill’s suggestion by a simple wiggle of her eyebrows. But that doesn’t mean she’s going any further with her ex.

“I have a boyfriend,” she says in between mouthfuls of his blood.

“True Blood” viewers will remember that Season 6 ended with a short time jump and Sookie in the arms of her old faithful, Alcide. And while the supernatural couple appeared to be happy, their relationship was still being haunted by the ghosts of boyfriends past – Bill. In the final moments of the Season 6 finale, Bill offered Sookie his protection from the Hep-V infected vamps, fearing that Alcide wouldn’t be enough to stop the infected. Needless to say, Alcide wasn’t happy about the offer and made his stance on it very clear. Sookie also refused Bill, but based on the sneak peek video she may have had a change of heart.

Fans will have to wait and see exactly what went down with the ravenous vampires headed for Bon Temps, but thanks to a leaked synopsis for the premiere we know that things won’t be pretty. The vampires will crash the vampire-human mixer at Bellefleur’s “with shocking results.” Meanwhile, Sookie will be forced to seek refuge from “accusations that she’s somehow to blame for the chaos in Bon Temps,” and Bill will receive aid from “an unexpected source” when he’s faced with a vigilante uprising.

The Season 7 premiere of “True Blood” will air on HBO on Sunday at 9 p.m. EDT. Will you be tuning in for episode 1? What do you think will happen? Tweet your thoughts to @AmandaTVScoop.
