President Donald Trump will give his State of the Union address on Jan. 30 where he is expected to talk about his administration's achievements during its first year in the White House, as well as future political agendas in the coming months. Needless to say, people of the United States will not want to miss POTUS’ speech.

Although Trump addressed a joint session of Congress in February 2017, this will be his first official State of the Union address.

The president’s speech will be broadcast live on all major television networks, including CNN, Fox News, CBS, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CSPAN, and PBS. Telemundo and Univision will also be airing the speech. This means that people can tune in to their preferred news channel to catch the president’s address.

Some news channels will be kicking off their coverage of the State of the Union a few hours before the actual event is scheduled to begin. CNN, for instance, will be doing just that, beginning their show on Trump’s address at 7 p.m. EST instead of 9 p.m. EST. Similarly, CBS’ live coverage of the event will start at 5 p.m. EST from the venue, the Capitol Building.

People will also be able to watch the State of the Union address on their desktop, smartphone or iPad, on the CNNgo app as well as the CBS News app. Furthermore, CBS will also live stream the event on devices such as Android TV, Apple TV, Fire Tablet, Fire TV, iOS, PlayStation 4, Roku devices, Pluto TV and Xumo, while CNN will stream it on AppleTV, Amazon Fire TV and Roku TV devices.

According to Metro, White House’s official YouTube channel will also broadcast the event live, making it increasingly feasible for more viewers to watch Trump’s address.

If you are looking for a bit of entertainment to go with the president’s address, you can also go to the respective Facebook pages of the White House and all the major networks which will be broadcasting the event, as most of them will likely set up live streams on social media.

Such live streams not only let viewers watch the event, but also allow them to convey their feelings about it as it unfolds in real time, as well as learn what others think about it via the comments.

In addition, CBS News and some of the other networks will also be broadcasting the Democratic response to the president’s State of the Union address, after the main event is over.

For those who do not know, this response — which is a much shorter speech than the presidential address — is delivered by the party in opposition of the sitting president. This year, the honor has been handed to Rep. Joe Kennedy III (D-MA).
