The CEO of Canada's national Stock exchange, the TSX Group Inc will be traveling to Brazil this week to meet issuers who want to issue their shares on the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange.

Richard Nesbitt will attend the Annual Meeting of the World Federation of Exchanges in Sao Paulo on Tuesday where he will speak on the WFE energy panel. Nesbitt will discuss Canada's growth in the energy market.

The Statistics Canada shows there has been steady growth in investment between Canada and Brazil. Two-way investment in 2004 totaled $8.5 billion. Canadian investment in Brazil has tripled over the last ten years from $2.3 billion in 1994 to $6.4 billion in 2004.
