RTTNews - In its latest inflation report, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey said that based on the medium term forecasts, with 70% probability, inflation would vary between 4.9% and 6.9% in 2009, with a mid point of 5.9%.

For 2010, the inflation is expected to be between 3.7% and 6.9%, with a mid point of 5.3%.

Further, it maintained the food inflation forecast for 2009 at 7.5%, unchanged from its forecast in April.

Meanwhile, the central bank expects inflation to come down to 4.9% by the end of 2011 and ease further to 4.8% by the middle of 2012.
