Fans and friends of Bobbi Kristina Brown have been posting on Twitter, ever since Whitney Houston’s daughter died on Sunday. Aside from the outpouring support in social media, a few fans gathered at her nursing home to show respect.

Houston's and Bobby Brown’s daughter died six months after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub in Roswell, Georgia, People reported. Brown was placed in a medically induced coma and eventually moved to the Peachtree Christian Hospice.

The Houston family said in a statement Brown died surrounded by her family. The family’s statement also conveyed gratitude to everyone who showed support and love for Houston’s daughter. "She is finally at peace in the arms of God,” the family said.

Since the announcement was made, Twitter has been flooded with messages of love, support and mourning. Some of the biggest names in Hollywood tweeted their condolences. Oprah Winfrey wrote “Peace at Last!” while rapper Missy Eliot tweeted, "My heart is truly heavy. May u rest in peace with your mommy #BobbiKristina sending prayers 2 the Brown/Houston family.”

Singer and actress Ciara shared a touching tribute, USA Today reported, writing, “Lost For Words About The Life Story Of Whitney and Her Daughter Bobbi Kristina. Praying For The Houston and Brown Family. #RestInPeaceBobbiKristina.”

Actor Brad James, with whom Brown worked in 2012 when she guest starred in the TV series “For Better or Worse,” also took to social media to share his last moment with her. James wrote: “The last time I saw #BobbiKristina was in the doorway of my dressing room.. she popped in, gave me a hug and said, 'Hey, Brad. I'll see you tomorrow'... Journey safely.”

A few fans even gathered in front of the nursing home where Brown died. Reuters reported fan Ali Joyner, 15, reportedly persuaded her mom and a neighbor to drive 20 miles from Dacula, Georgia, to Atlanta. "We just wanted to show our respect. I just loved her mom, Whitney. And Bobbi is part of that," Joyner said.

Brown is survived by her father, Bobby Brown, and grandmother, Cissy Houston. Brown was 22.
