“Rack City” rapper Tyga issued a statement on Twitter on Tuesday, the same day his ex-girlfriend, Blac Chyna, acceptable a marriage proposal from former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star Rob Kardashian. In the eyes of Twitterati, the statement is monumental since the rapper shares a son, King Cairo, with Blac Chyna. If she and Kardashian went through with the engagement and Tyga married girlfriend Kylie Jenner, Tyga would essentially become the uncle of his own son.

“Everybody deserves to be happy. What someone does for their happiness is not my concern, as long as it's not interfering with my happiness,” Tyga, 26, wrote Tuesday. “It makes me happy to see the mother of my son happy. My only concern in this situation is my son. I want him in happy environments.”

Tyga reiterated his concern for his son and how he probably didn’t want him to be ridiculed for having his father also be his uncle. “He's innocent in this. And I want him to feel as much love as possible,” the rapper wrote about King Cairo, 3. “Only an evil heart would direct negativity at a child and make fun of him for being in a situation that is out of his control. When u [sic] been blessed how I've been and create someone u [sic] love unconditional, you'll understand how I feel. You’ll want to protect that blessing.”

Tyga’s message was all about his son. He didn’t make reference to his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, who has a rocky past with Blac. The two exchanged passive-aggressive social media jabs in the past, as Blac used to be bitter about Jenner stealing Tyga away.

No one from the Kardashian or Jenner camp has issued a statement about Rob’s engagement. In fact, most of the family members have posted to social media Tuesday but ignored the proposal. They were supposedly blindsided by the engagement, TMZ wrote. He purposely waited for the family to go on vacation to Colorado before popping the question.

Amber Rose, who is best friends with Blac, is one of the few people who responded. “Congratulations to my Family @blacchyna and @robkardashian!!!” she tweeted Tuesday. In honor of the couple, she created an emoji through her app, Muva Moji.
