As far as Tyga is concerned, there are no hard feelings toward his ex-girlfriend Kylie Jenner. The rapper opened up about their split, revealing that things went south between them because they’re so focused on their own careers and lives right now.

When asked by a TMZ photographer whether their age difference played a part in the breakup, the “Stimulated” rapper, 26, thought about it and responded: “Uh, I think, you know, we’re just both focused on our lives, our individual lives, and sometimes things just don’t work out.” He added, “But I love her.”

Tyga also talked about his ex-fiancée, Blac Chyna, getting ready to have a kid with Kylie’s older half-brother, Rob Kardashian. “People grow and evolve and should have the opportunity at love and live they life,” he said when quizzed about the pair’s baby news. Tyga, however, drew the line when pressed about whether he thinks Kardashian would make a good stepfather to his and Chyna’s son, King Cairo.

On Thursday, Tyga told E! Online that he was doing “good” following the breakup. “Just another day and working hard and trying to get to that next level and achieve big things and evolve,” he said.

Jenner, 18, and Tyga first started dating in October 2014. The pair briefly split in November, but sources previously told TMZ that this breakup is different and they won’t be getting back together. According to People magazine, Kardashian’s relationship with Chyna played a part in Tyga and Jenner's deciding to end things.

“The drama really started to get to Kylie. She couldn’t get it off her mind,” a source said. “She almost felt like she was in an incestuous relationship. She figured it’d be best to just drop it and move on with her life so she wouldn’t have to worry about all the emotional baggage that came along with that situation anymore.”
