“Teen Mom OG” star Catelynn Lowell worried fans when she posted cryptic tweets amid her depression battle Tuesday, but her sister-in-law, Amber Baltierra, told Radar Online in an exclusive interview Wednesday there is nothing to be alarmed about. If something serious were happening, her brother, Tyler Baltierra, would have contacted the family instead of responding online.

“If something was seriously wrong, he would be telling his family first instead of posting it,” Amber Baltierra said of her brother. “Everything is fine.” However, she admitted she hadn’t heard about the tweets until Radar Online contacted her for a statement.

“For everyone that thinks I’m so ‘strong’ I’m really not ... one day you will know why. I also can be very weak,” Lowell wrote to her 1.19 million followers on the microblogging site. The post garnered more than 1,000 likes and was shared dozens of times.

But Lowell’s apparent cry for help paid off. “You guys have no clue on how much you lift me up sometimes,” she later wrote.

Although Lowell apparently felt better, the tweets by her husband seemed more worrisome. “Please just pray for my wife,” Baltierra wrote at the same time Lowell penned her tweets. “For better or for worse ... through sickness and in health ... I will never stop fighting for my wife. Keep her in your prayers ... thank you.”

The MTV reality-television stars did not update their fans on the apparent crisis happening in their lives. However, Lowell has been open with the “Teen Mom OG” audience about her struggle with depression. She added she suffered with postpartum depression when her daughter, Novalee, was born in January 2015.

During the “Teen Mom OG” 2016 reunion special, she told celebrity Dr. Drew Pinsky she contemplated suicide. “I remember sitting in the bathtub and I’m like, I’m not waking up another day feeling like this,” she tearfully recalled in the episode aired March 8.

“Teen Mom OG” Season 7 has wrapped, but “Teen Mom 2” is set to return to MTV Monday, March 21, at 10 p.m. EDT.
