FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - UK retailers have seen their sales increase at a faster than expected pace in November, despite a sharp rise in average selling price, according to the latest report published by the Confederation of British Industry.

The monthly distributive trade survey has thrown a balance of +13 retailers reporting an increase on sales volume, compared to the previous month. In October, above the +10 balance in October.

Average selling prices, according to the CBI rose strongly in the three months to November, with a balance of +42, in the three months to August the balance was +16.
