FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The retail sales volume index, reflected in the CBI distribute trade survey, has come back to show positive numbers in March, after negative figure in February, according to the latest report released by the Confederation of British Industry.

The rounded balance between surveyed retailers who have seen their sales increasing against those have experienced decreased, has resulted in +1 in March, up from -3 on the previous month, as 36% of respondents said year on year sales volumes rose in the first half of March, while 35% said that they were down. February data was the first negative balance since November 2006.
