FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Inflation at consumer level has increased 2.1% on the year in November, the same increase as the previous month's despite higher oil prices, according to data released by National Statistics.
On the month, consumer prices increased 0.3%, below the previous month's 0.5% rise, while the Core CPI has remained flat on the month and 1.4% higher than in November last year.
Upward pressures to CPI came from road fuels, the main inflationary pressure, followed by heating oil and financial services; while air travel, vehicle maintenance, recreation and culture and bars and restaurants posted the downward contribution to inflation.
Retail prices increased 4.3% on the year in November, slightly above last month's 4.2% increase. On the month, RPI increased 0.4%.
