The U.K. released the M4 money supply index for the month of April, where M4 money supply expanded by 0.1% in line with the prior rise in March, while compared with a year earlier, M4 money supply contracted by 0.9%, compared with the prior contraction of 1.1%.

Net consumer credit expanded in April by 0.5 billion pounds, compared with the prior revised estimate of 0.5 billion pounds and above median estimates of 0.2 billion pounds, while net lending securities on dwellings expanded by 0.7 billion pounds in line with expectations and following the prior revised estimate of 0.5 billion pounds. Mortgage approvals eased in April to 45.2K, compared with the prior revised estimate of 47.1K and below median estimates of 47.0K.
