FXstreet.com (Barcelona) -UK's M4 money supply has risen 0.4% in May, and 10% year on year, down from the 0.5% monthly and the 11% yearly increased posted in April, according to data by the bank of England.

The household sector's holdings of M4 have increased by 5.6 billion pounds in May, while the 12 month growing rate has declined to 8.7% from 8.9% in April. Private non financial corporations' holdings of M4 decreased by 0.4 billion and the annual growth declined by 0.5%.

Holdings of M4 by other financial corporations have risen by 1.9 billion pound, and M4 lending (excluding the effects of securitisations) to OFCs decreased by 9.3 billion .
