FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - M4 rose by 0.2% in October, while on yearly basis it increased by 11.8%, according to the latest information by the Bank of England.

M4 increases in September were 0.9% on monthly basis and 12.7% compared with October 2006, according to data released last month. M4 lending rose by 19.5 billion pounds in October following the 24.8 billion pounds increase registered in September.

Excluding the effects of securitisations, M4 lending to households rose by 6.8 billion pounds in October implying a yearly rise by 9.1%. On the other hand, the annual growth rate of household sector's holdings of M4 rose to the level of 8.4%.
