FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Output of the manufacturing sector has edged down in November, an so did the industrial productions, contrary to the analysts' expectations of s slight monthly increase, according to data released by National Statistics.

Manufacturing output has decreased 0.1% from October t November in the United Kingdom, weighed by significant decreases on the electrical and optical equipment industries, -1.9%, which was partially offset by the 2.4% increase on the output of transport equipment industries.

Industrial production has edged down another 0.1% on the month, following a 0.5% increase in October, revised up from the initially reported 0.4% rise. On the year, industrial production rose 0.4% after the 1.0% increase in October.
