FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The British manufacturing sector's activity has grown in January, although at levels somewhat slower than in December and actually rather close to contraction as the latest PMI report on manufacturing shows.

Manufacturing PMI has decreased in January to 50.6 from 52.4 in December, an unexpected decrease, since the market's consensus advanced a reading around 52.5. The PMI index sows expansion of the sector in figures over 50, and contraction otherwise.
