FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - United Kingdom's manufacturing sector's activity has expanded in February at a fastest pace then expected, and somewhat faster then expected, according to the latest manufacturing PMI index.

Manufacturing PMI index has increased to 51.3 in February, above the experts' forecasts of a 51.0 reading, from revised 50.7 in January, previously estimated 50.6. The Purchasing Managers Index indicates expansion of the sector's activity in figures above 50, while it shows contraction of the sector otherwise.
