FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Housing prices have continued declining in the United Kingdom in June, although at a slower pace than in May, according to the latest Nationwide house price survey.

Prices of houses have declined 0.9% in June from May, following a 2.5% monthly decline in the previous month. Year on year, housing prices have decreased 6.3%.

The price of an average house, according to Nationwide, is around 172,415 pound now, which is already 11,500 pounds cheaper than in June last year, and 13,500 pound less than it was at the top of the market. Nevertheless, prices are yet 4% above the level they were two years ago, and 9% above the price three years ago.
