FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - UK Nationwide housing prices have posted a 0.8% decline in November, while it posted a 6.9% annual growth, according to the latest Nationwide report.

November figures reverse October's strong performance; 1.1% monthly increase and 9.7% yearly growth, but, according to Nationwide, the reading comes in line with the softening trend seen in the second half of the year, with prices growing from 5 to 8% in annual terms.

November's 0.8% decrease has been the first decrease since February, and the largest since June 1995, nevertheless, the report points out to the volatility of monthly data to explain this month's fall.
