FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Total net lending to individuals rose by 8.8 billion pounds in October, an increase below the 10.8 billion pound posted in September, according to data released by the Bank of England.

The twelve month grow rate has decreased to 9.7% while the three-month growth rate has fallen by 0.5% percentage points to 8.9%.

The number of loans approved for home purchase have also decreased on the month, to 88,000 from 100,000 in September, while the net consumer credit rose by 1.4 billion pound, slightly above the 1.3 billion pound increase posted on the previous month.
